Mina Rios is the founder of Mina Communications writing and consulting. She is originally from San Francisco and currently resides in Sonoma Wine Country.

Rios is a trained climate leader with the Climate Reality Project, founded by former vice president Al Gore. She attended in-person leadership corps training in Las Vegas with chairman Gore in June 2022 and participated in Virtual Training in April 2023. Rios is a contributing writer of the Climate Reality Bay Area chapter. As a freelance journalist, she has media affiliation with Made Local Magazine, Sonoma Magazine, the North Bay Bohemian, the Pacific Sun, In Dance, and several other publications. She is also trained in music, theater, and dance and is an emerging choreographer working on a contemporary ballet project.
